It’s not your grandmother’s chamber music! The Canandaigua Lake Music Festival is putting on a show at the stunning, lakeside setting of Bristol Harbour Resort. The evening begins with a delicious barbecue dinner, followed by lively fiddling selections from Marc O’Connor’s Appalachia Waltz album.

The night is casual, where performers wear jeans and play music that is upbeat and unique. Israeli improvisation artist Noam Sivan will be part of an interactive music-making experience, regardless of participants prior experience. RPO concertmaster Juliana Athayde and other special guests will join Noam for an improvised encore by creating music on the spot based on themes suggested by the audience.

Classical Blue Jeans concept – which has been hailed by New Yorker critic Alex Ross for its innovative approach, is a popular one, which usually leads to a sold out audience. Bristol Harbour Resort will provide a more spacious venue for this famous concert. There are also family-friendly discounts for children.
