Canandaigua author, Donna Bennett, and Canandaigua Primary School art teacher, J.C. Mull, will be available for book signings Saturday, December 20th 1pm to 4pm at Pat Rini Rohrer Gallery at 71 South Main Street in Downtown Canandaigua. Light refreshments will be served and admissions is free.
The author and illustrator published their children’s book, Petey and the Mean Pirates. This book is a delightful children’s story that appeals to both kids and parents, alike. Mrs. Bennett wrote the book to address the common childhood belief that all pirates have to be rough and tough and aggressive (and, as a parent, she knows that sometimes “little pirates” can act out that way at home, school, or daycare).
