The Canandaigua Comic Con is scheduled for Sunday, October 18th, 2009 from 11am to 5pm at the Inn on the Lake, 770 South Main Street, Canandaigua, NY 14424. Thousands of comics, graphic novels, books and more will be for sale. Comic books artists and creators will be autographing their books. The event is free and the co founders are expecting that this will be the first of an annual event.

“There are so many comic fans and creators alike in the area,” Mike Churchill, owner of Pulp Nouveau Comix and co-founder of Canandaigua Comic Con. “We are expecting a huge turn out, the artists and fans are looking forward to this event.”
The Canandaigua Comic Con will have merchandise for the comic enthusiast and for those who want to try something new. It is an event for the whole family located in Canandaigua, which has destinations (shops and restaurants) to check out before or after visiting the Canandaigua Comic Con.
