NAPLES, NY (JUNE 2010)

Bristol Valley Theater, the central Finger Lakes live professional theater continues their all comedy 2010 summer season with Red White and Tuna by Joe Sears, Jaston Williams and Ed Howard, starting June 24 at the theater in Naples and running through July 4.

The comedy, third in a hilarious and crowd-pleasing series which also includes Greater Tuna and Tuna Christmas, chronicles the lives and loves of the humble inhabitants of the third smallest town in the lone star state, Tuna, Texas.  In this installment, the good people of Tuna are preparing for the Tuna High School Reunion and 4th of July celebration.  There’ll be beauty pageants, UFO sightings, an exhibit of road-kill sculptures, and of course, award winning potato salad!
“What makes this play so hysterical is not just the loveable, laughable characters, but also the entire population of Tuna—men women, pets and aliens– will be played by just two actors!” said Karin Bowersock, Artistic Director, “Half the fun is in the quick changes!”

The production will be directed by David Shane, with actors Tommy Labanaris and Vincent DiGeronimo, both from New York City, making the split second costume changes to bring the entire town to life.  The production is sponsored by The Naples Record, WCGR Radio, and Clark CSM.

“No funnier place to celebrate the 4th—and summer in general– than Tuna!” said Bowersock.

Performances run from June 24 through July 4 at the theater at 151 S. Main Street in Naples.  For reservations and further information, call the box office at 585 374-6318 or visit www.bvtnaples.org
